Safe Environment

The Archdiocese of San Antonio requires that all ordained ministers, volunteers and staff members complete and keep current their Virtus Online Safe Environment training. The Archdiocese of San Antonio is committed to the protection of children, youth and vulnerable adults. Your certification must be renewed every three years. These requirements need to be met for ALL volunteers to participate in ministry. All volunteers must also pass a background check.

Complete ALL three VIRTUS modules: Sexual Harassment Training, Vulnerable Adults Training and Protecting God’s Children Training.

Read and acknowledge the Code of Conduct and complete Criminal Background Check.

Please NOTE: Fr. Lénin is REQUIRING all volunteers to complete ALL of the training modules whether or not you actively work with children or vulnerable adults. This is to promote a general awareness not only about the people we serve in the parish but for the protection of family, friends and others that we encounter in our daily lives. With this in mind, PLEASE ANSWER YES to the questions about working with children or vulnerable adults. This will enable all the required modules to be made available to you.
